Editorial policy
Our goal is to publish practical real estate information that helps a reader make a better next decision. Content should be accurate, locally useful, clear about uncertainty, and honest about professional boundaries.
How topics are selected
Topics come from real client questions, recurring property issues, local search needs, transaction lessons, official changes, and gaps in the existing market pages. We do not publish articles solely to repeat a keyword or create a page for every town.
Research and sources
We prefer government agencies, official municipal and county resources, regulator and consumer-protection materials, original property records, licensed professionals, and first-hand transaction experience. A third-party portal may help discover a topic but should not be the only source for a material claim.
Waycros's review
Before public publication, Waycros should add or confirm first-hand local context, verify that advice matches current practice, remove unsupported claims, and confirm that examples do not reveal confidential client or transaction information.
AI assistance
AI may help organize research, create outlines, identify missing questions, improve clarity, generate metadata, and check internal links. AI output is not treated as a source. Material facts and citations require human verification, and public articles must contain original local value.
Fair housing
Content will not steer readers based on protected characteristics or describe who belongs in a community. Subjective questions about safety, schools, demographics, religion, or the character of residents are directed to objective sources and the reader's own criteria.
Corrections and updates
Evergreen articles show a review date and are rechecked at least annually. Market updates and listings carry dates and require faster updates. Material corrections should be made promptly and transparently. Obsolete pages may be consolidated or redirected to the most useful current resource.
Professional boundaries
Articles provide general real estate education, not legal, tax, lending, appraisal, inspection, engineering, insurance, environmental, or investment advice. Readers should consult the properly licensed professional for their specific circumstances.
